COVID-19 Response

Update: May 27, 2020

We appreciate your patience as we worked through our operations and we are excited to announce that at the direction of our preparedness experts, we are reopening our MedSpa and clinic on Monday, June 1.

  • We are first working to reschedule cancelled appointments but will also take new appointments, beginning today. Thank you for your patience as we work to schedule all those who wish to do so, according to the safety measures we have in place. You may schedule your appointment by calling 402.596.4000
  • Patients are required to wear a mask and to be screened before entering the facility. If you do not own a mask, we will provide one
  • All MedSpa services will be offered, with the exception of Pixel Perfect and tattoo removal. This is due to the required protective equipment needed to perform these procedures, which we must conserve at this time

We appreciate your loyalty and look forward to seeing you once again.

Update: April 27, 2020

With the announcement that elective surgeries are able to resume on May 4, we have received a few questions about our reopen date. As a Nebraska Medicine facility, we are relying on our operational and clinical leadership to determine when this will be. Decisions will be guided by data and input from our preparedness and public health experts.

Safety is our first priority and we value the relationships we have with every patient at Village Pointe Aesthetic Surgery | Dreams MedSpa. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to ramp our operations back up in a safe and deliberate way. Once a reopen date is confirmed, we will be sure to announce this across all platforms.

Perry Johnson, MD
Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

As a Nebraska Medicine facility, we have been closely monitoring the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in our community. Safety is our first priority – for our patients, staff and community. As such, we will be closing Dreams MedSpa as a precautionary measure. No Dreams MedSpa employees or patients have tested positive for the virus to our knowledge nor has an infected individual identified our location as one to be monitored. This decision was made from a position of caution, and will also allow us to redeploy Nebraska Medicine staff to assist with inpatient care if needed.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your support as we work together to keep our patients, staff and community safe.

  • Effective Tuesday, March 17, Dreams MedSpa will close to the public. All scheduled appointments will be evaluated every two weeks

  • The reopen date has not yet been determined but will follow guidelines provided by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services and our expert physician leadership

  • All Dreams MedSpa patient accounts are still active and pre-purchased services can be used after the reopen

  • The Spring Fling eSale will run from April 1 through 30, online only. Skin care products will not be available for purchase. Pre-purchased services will be added to your patient account to be used after the reopen

  • Village Pointe Aesthetic Surgery will remain open. Some appointments may be moved to limit the number of patients at the facility at a given time. This will be on a case-by-case basis and patients will be contacted directly if changes are made

  • Village Pointe Aesthetic Surgery will be closed on Saturdays until Dreams MedSpa reopens
